OUR PROCESS
"CHANGE IS NOT AN EVENT, IT'S A PROCESS" - CHERYL JAMES
Step 1 - Discover your financial identity
Your first meeting at CWM is both an opportunity for us to get to know each other and start your financial planning process. We can share our financial philosophies and identify and prioritize what’s most important to you financially.
Step 2 - Taking stock
After our first meeting, we’ll ask you for some homework. Be prepared to round up documents, including retirement plan account statements, investment accounts, Social Security statements, mortgage and property tax documents, outstanding debt documents, and insurance policies.
Step 3 - Review your financial analysis
In your second meeting, we will use our time together to review your information and further prioritize your short-term and long-term financial goals. We will have analyzed the data you provided and will outline possible courses of action to get the most out of your finances both right now and in the future.
Step 4 - Engaging our services
At this meeting, it's time to get real. We hope we’ll have demonstrated significant value already and we’ll ask if you’re ready to engage our services and move forward. After identifying the steps to engage, we’ll set up a meeting with 24-48 hours and start the onboarding process.
Step 5 - Implementing plan
Finally, we will meet to take the steps outlined in your plan. We will collect final information, create accounts and transfer assets as needed to implement your plan.
Step 6 - Monitor & Adjust
This step has no end point. As your Advisor, we will monitor and manage your assets, adjust to life's changes when needed and continue to make sure your financial plan is working for you.
